Externship Program

At Monte Financial Group, we believe our externship program should provide students the opportunity to discover their passion and apply the knowledge they have developed in the classroom to a professional setting. At the same time, it provides us the opportunity to identify talented individuals with attributes that best fit our firm’s culture.

The Wealth Management Externship is an unpaid 1-month program offered in the fall and spring, 2-days a week for approximately 3-4 hours a day. Candidates who are selected for this experience will have the opportunity to shadow our team of Wealth Advisors and learn about the financial planning process, client communication, center of influence (COI) networking opportunities, CRM and custodial systems, as well as internal communications with client service representatives and the asset management team.
