Last week, Bob Monte, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) was invited to speak to the UConn Foundation staff in Storrs, CT about charitable giving strategies from his viewpoint as an investment advisor. The event hosted by fellow CAP® Clayton Jason, Director of Gift Planning, was organized to share the experiences of crafting a charitable gift plan for individuals and their families. The UConn Foundation offers many unique gifting opportunities for Alumni and others through scholarships and program support in areas such as environmental sciences, center for clean energy engineering, marine sciences and more.
