Bob was invited to be the featured presenter at a speaking engagement at Masonicare at Ashlar Village in Wallingford, CT. Bob spoke to a group of 24 people interested in moving to the Continuing Care Retirement Community. Bob touched upon topics such asset management, cash flow and financial longevity planning.

Bob and Martha co-hosted a complimentary reception in appreciation of High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, a non-profit they proudly support. The elegant reception took place at the Madison Beach Hotel while guests enjoyed a panoramic long island sound sunset, hors d-oeuvres, music and beer, wine and vodka tasting from local distilleries. The event gave attendees the opportunity to learn about High Hopes, one of the top therapeutic riding centers in the nation whose mission is to improve the lives of people with disabilities through the benefit of therapeutic horseback riding, equine assisted activities and therapies, and training and education.

Bob was invited to make a presentation to the FMA (Financial Management Associated) Club at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.  Bob spoke to 50 financial management students about the path of his career in the Financial Services industry and the skills and experience he has gained from 30 plus years in the wealth management business.

Bob Monte attended the 10th Annual Connecticut Burns Care Foundation Sports Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Woodbridge in Woodbridge, CT.  This annual tournament is held to benefit the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp, a program that has helped changed the lives of many children burn survivors forever. The event raised funds for 86 children ages 8-18 from all over the world to have an unsurpassed camping experience in Union, CT, with volunteer counselors and staff comprised primarily of firefighters and a medical team from the leading burn centers in the Northeast.

Bob and Martha Monte attended the Gallop Event at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme, CT. High Hopes offers therapeutic riding and other equestrian activities that benefit the bodies, minds and spirits of people with disabilities.  This extraordinary event attended by nearly 600 guests raised over $205,000 to support programs and participants at High Hopes.  It was a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing for a cause MFG has been happily supporting for several years.

Bob Monte and Joan Monte attended the High Bridge Voices Benefit Concert at the Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. Monte Financial Group has been a proud supporter of High Bridge Voices throughout the years.  High Bridge offers vital music and academic enrichment to children in the Bronx, NY community.  The concert was uplifting and moving to see deserving children from the ages of 8-18 have the opportunity to proudly express their talents.

MFG Team and family participated in Denali’s Rock the Gauntlet on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at East Rock Park. The 5K Obstacles race benefits the Denali Foundation-Getting Kids Outdoors which funds a scholarship program for the New Haven Parks and Recreation Department Summer Camp program.

On December 15, 2015, Bob met Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) rigorous credentialing standards to be designated as a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional. The IMCA grants the CPWA credential to advanced wealth managers and advisors who successfully complete the experience, education, examination and ethics requirements of the certification program.
